The Thrust

The Thrust is the band formed by Pepe Ragonese (trumpet),
Pancho Ragonese (keys & programming) and Giovanni Giorgi (drums & programming).

They've been playin' togheter for a long time and their first
album (We Love You) has just been released by Lifegate Music.
I sang one song (Five Days),which i also co - wrote (lyrics & melody).
The album is made of instrumental original music with jazz-funk influences, but it also has electro and ethno flavours.

The whole thing is really "tasty" , and it's got other guest musicians as well, like Stefano Di Battista who's surely one
of the top sax men in Europe right now.

The live set is even more complete and satisfying , with lots of energy and a steady flow, yet varied. A perfect balance of structure and improvisation. Every now and then I add some vocals and singing with them gets deeper everytime!
